The Mixed Choir

Student Mixed Choir was created on October 1, 1944. First Leader B. Lebedev (1910-1976) - an outstanding conductor, teacher and public figure who stood at the origins of the choral art of Kazakhstan. Over the years, the chorus was conducted by G.Ye. Vinogradov, B.M. Lyashko, B.S. Kutunov, J.A. Bayysbaev, T.N. Nurymbetov, L.A. Aidarbekova, V.E. Schiller A huge contribution to the formation of the professional traditions of the team was made by the People’s Artist of the USSR, Professor Anatoly V. Molodov.

Since September 2006, the choir is headed by the Laureate of the Foundation of the First President, Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Rudkovsky Yan Stanislavovich.

The team is a student of the Second All-Union Festival of Russian and Soviet Choral Music named after S. Taneyev (1983), winner of the Republican Choral Festival (1992), winner of the International Festival of Choral Music (2001), VI International Festival of Creative Youth and Students in Crimea (2008) and holder of two golden diplomas, as well as a special prize "for the exceptional performance of the obligatory competitive work" of the prestigious international choir competition "Venezia in musica" in Venice (2009), winner of a gold medal internationally of competition «World Choir Games -2010» in China, winner of two gold diplomas at the International Competition of choirs named Franz Schubert in Vienna (2012).

The touring geography of the group includes Astana, Pavlodar, Aktobe, Beijing (China), Budapest, Szolnok, Gyor (Hungary). It should be noted that everywhere the performances of the choir of the Conservatory caused the most positive feedback from listeners who noted the extraordinary artistic and emotional enthusiasm, harmony of sound, professionalism and charisma of the manager.

Thanks to an extensive, constantly replenishing repertoire consisting of choral works of various eras, styles and genres, the student mixed choir is a regular participant in the concert events of the conservatory.
