THE STRUCTURE OF THE SCIENTIFIC AND INFORMATION LIBRARY SERVICE INCLUDES:

DEPARTMENT OF SERVICE OF READERS, ASSEMBLY AND STORAGE OF FUNDS

Carries out the issuance and reception of educational literature. Ensures the safety, storage mode, repair, restoration of the library fund; organizes book exhibitions, presentations of new books to help educational and scientific processes. The department also carries out the acquisition, systematization, cataloging, scientific and technical processing of printed publications. Keeps total and individual accounting of receipts. Maintains and edits the electronic catalogue, creates a service catalog in printed form. Maintains a card index of the book supply of specialties and disciplines.


TRAINING SUBSCRIPTION

Subscription of educational literature is a form of library service that provides for the issuance of literature for use outside the library. Readers are enrolled in the library. Students of all courses, undergraduates, doctoral students, faculty and staff of the Conservatory are served. The fund contains educational materials. The reader receives the necessary literature for 30 calendar days, or for one semester, (depending on demand). Readers at the end of the spring-summer semester (until June 15) are required to hand over all available literature. Types of services - individual service for readers, group service for readers (issuance of sets of textbooks for a semester)

READING ROOM

Reading room for students, undergraduates, doctoral students, faculty. The reading room contains textbooks, teaching aids, music publications, literature on social and humanitarian disciplines and legal (history, philosophy, political science, sociology, psychology, cultural studies, ethics, aesthetics, religion). Scientific literature is presented to help the educational process and scientific work, reference books, dictionaries, encyclopedias, dissertations, abstracts, periodicals. Access to international information resources, IRBIS electronic catalog with full-text editions of the Conservatory is provided.

Monday - Friday: from 08:00 to 20:00
Saturday - from 08:00 to 14:00

DEPARTMENT OF ELECTRONIC RESOURCES

Forms databases of the Electronic Library of the KNK named after Kurmangazy in accordance with educational and scientific programs. The department organizes monthly information and thematic exhibitions, which give students the opportunity to get acquainted with information that expands the boundaries of various topics and subjects established by the curriculum. They conduct training seminars/trainings on registration and search in databases, organize virtual book exhibitions, events to form an information culture.
The electronic reading room is designed to provide access to the electronic fund of the NIBS KNK named after Kurmangazy and provide information and bibliographic services. Students and teachers can access the Internet and electronic information resources in an electronic reading room equipped with modern equipment - 15 monoblocks, a projector, TV, scanners.
