Erasmus+ program to Poland for 1st and 2nd-year students

A competition is announced for studying during the 2024-2025 academic year for one semester (October 2024 - January 2025) at The Krzysztof Penderecki Academy of Music in Krakow (AMKP) in the specialties of conducting, piano, vocal, and other orchestral instruments.

 

The number of candidates and applications is not limited, but there are only 2 grants available.

To participate in the competitive selection process, candidates should meet the following criteria and requirements:

§ Citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

§ Student of the 1st or 2nd year in specialties such as conducting, piano, vocal, and other orchestral instruments;

§ High academic performance in the previous study period (GPA 3.0);

§ Responsibility and communicativeness;

§ Good level of English proficiency: the ability to understand spoken/written language, participate in lectures/seminars, and express thoughts coherently.

The competition is open to both students enrolled under the state educational order and those studying on a paid basis.

Candidates who successfully pass the selection process will receive full coverage of expenses (accommodation, transportation, stipend) as part of the Erasmus+ program.

The deadline for submitting applications is April 15, 2024.

Also, by April 15, 2024, candidates should provide a valid DUOLINGO or IELTS certificate at levels B1 or B2. If the certificate is not provided within the specified period, the candidate will not be accepted.

The selection process will be conducted by the respective faculty of the receiving institution.

 

To participate in the competition in English, candidates should submit the required documents in Word format electronically to the International Department via email at intdepkons@gmail.com:

1) Europass Resume (https://europa.eu/europass/en/create-europass-cv);

2) Completed Erasmus + Incoming Student Application Form (STUDENT-APPLICATION-FORM-TO-KRAKOW-2.doc) (live.com). Audio or video recordings or links of performances with the titles of the pieces can be attached to this application;

3) A brief explanation of the motivation for the internship (1-2 pages), also briefly duplicate in the MOTIVATION LETTER (BRIEF) section of the application;

Students should create a preliminary study plan from the list of offered subjects (https://www.amuz.krakow.pl/en/erasmus/ects/) and specify it in their application.
