MusiQuE - Music Quality Enhancement, one of AEC's partner organisations, is happy to invite you to its first webinar on Quality Assurance “Quality assurance in higher (music) education: a webinar for staff and students”. The webinar will take place on Wednesday 23 June 2021 from 15:00 to 16:30 CEST. 

MusiQuE is a subject-specific external evaluation body dedicated to the continuous improvement of the quality of higher music education across Europe and beyond and to assisting higher music education institutions in their own enhancement of quality.

The webinar will first explore quality assurance in general, giving in depth explanation of this concept and presenting the main trends and actors in the field within the European Higher Education Area. The webinar will then focus on where MusiQuE sits in this landscape and how it contributes to the field.
For the occasion, MusiQuE will welcome the following speakers:

• Tia Loukkola (Director of the Institutional Development Unit - European University Association - EUA)
   
• Maria Kelo (Director - The European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education - ENQA) 
   
• Martin Prchal (Royal Conservatoire The Hague and former Chairperson of MusiQuE) 
   
• Moderated by Gordon Munro (Chairperson of MusiQuE).

The webinar is meant for management, students, staff dealing with quality assurance QA and academic staff in higher music education institutions. This webinar is the first of a series of MusiQuE webinars which will take place over the next few months. More information about the webinar series can be found on the MusiQuE website.
