Open Lecture by Shoyista Ganikhanova

On June 3, 2024, a lecture by Dr. Shoyista Ganikhanova, PhD in Arts, Professor of the Music History and Criticism Department at the State Conservatory of Uzbekistan (Tashkent, Uzbekistan), was held in the conference hall of the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory.

The speaker delivered a lecture on “Musical Culture of Uzbekistan at the Present Stage: Performance Practice, Compositional Creativity, Musicology.”

Sh. Ganikhanova immersed the audience in history, highlighting the main stages of the development of Uzbek musical culture from its origins to the present day. The lecturer also discussed with the audience modern trends and styles in Uzbek compositional creativity.
