Students of the KNC named after Kurmangazy will study with the new textbooks

June 11 at the KNС named after Kurmangazy was held a round table with the participation of the rector of the Conservatory, Jania Aubakirova, the adviser of the National Translation Bureau Kenzhekhan Matyzhanov, the administration and the teaching staff of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Sciences.


The motive for the event was the enriching of the conservatory’s library with textbooks on the project "New Humanitarian Knowledge. 100 new textbooks in the Kazakh language", and during the meeting discussions on the content and significance of books were held; suggestions on the development of new ideas and projects in the field of Research work of students were made, as well as questions to provide conservatory students with books and textbooks in the field of arts in the Kazakh language were raised.


"What we see today, what result for the year of work is, makes overwhelming impression. We are pleased by books that are translated, published and transmitted by the project operator to the library of the Conservatory with the quality both in terms of design and the choice of topics. I think that the students are very fortunate, because they have the opportunity to learn from books that were not simply written by outstanding scientists, but they improved from publication to publication, having accumulated by timely information, facts, methods. We hope very much for the possibility of including books on the musical art in the project"- noted the People's Artist of the RK, the rector of the Kazakh National Conservatory named after Kurmangazy, Zhaniya Aubakirova.


In turn, Kenzhekhan Matyzhanov emphasized that the Translation Bureau is open to proposals and will happily include musical literature in the project. "It is important for us that the published books in the framework of the project "New Humanitarian Knowledge. 100 new books in the Kazakh language", meets all the needs of the time, were published no less than 3-5 times and were in great demand among the leading universities of the world. If the Conservatory offers textbooks that meet all of the above criteria, we will certainly publish those in Kazakh", he said.


Teachers and professors of the Conservatory actively study new manuals on the subjects of philosophy, psychology, economics, religious studies, noting that the presented books will certainly evoke much interest in students. "I looked through the textbook "Medieval philosophy"and just envied the students who study in the Kazakh language. The language of the presentation is difficult, but we have students who write significant scientific works, study philosophy in more depth, and the book of Anthony Kenny will be a great help for them. In addition, I would like to note that the book contains a lot of material on the Arab-Muslim philosophy. In textbooks on the history of philosophy in Russian, this topic is given in one or two paragraphs, hardly reaching content of a page.
