Students of the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory to Study at the State Conservatory of Uzbekistan

On September 3, 2025, third-year students of the Musicology and Composition Department, Faculty of Musicology, Arts Management, and Social and Humanitarian Disciplines of the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory — Artemiy Pestov (Composition) and Meiirpash Nauryzbayeva (Musicology) — arrived at the State Conservatory of Uzbekistan (Tashkent, Uzbekistan) to study within the framework of the external academic mobility program.
The State Conservatory of Uzbekistan is a higher educational institution of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the oldest conservatory in Central and Middle Asia, training highly qualified specialists for musical institutions throughout the region.
For the first time, the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory is implementing an outgoing academic mobility program with the State Conservatory of Uzbekistan.
The study period will take place from September 4 to December 20, 2025. Staff members of the State Conservatory of Uzbekistan — accompanist of the Composition and Orchestration Department Bekhzodbek Tursunboev, Head of the Sector for Organizing Research Activities of Gifted Students and methodologist of the International Office, Khabiba Gaibova and PhD in Arts, Associate Professor of the Music History and Criticism Department, Elnora Mamadzhanova — warmly welcomed our students at the airport and accompanied them to the dormitory.
We are proud of our students and confident that this trip will bring them not only professional but also cultural growth.
