The quintet founded by the Professor of the Conservatory Zhanat Yermanov won the international contest

The State Woodwind Instruments Quintet founded by the Professor of the Wind and Percussion Instruments Department of Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory, Zhanat Yermanov, won the international contest.
The quintet captured the hearts of the jury and
gained 1st prize in the international "Music Box" online contest, receiving 98 points out of 100. Musicians from 58 countries took part in the contest.

The event is organized by the Talented Royals Internationals - the British Talent Search and Promotion Association and the Academy of Children's Music - London School of Art and Music. A competent jury which consisted of eminent musicians, choreographers, producers, music critics from Spain, France, Italy, China and the United States, assessed performance skills in various categories such as piano, folk instruments, accordion and button accordion, ensembles and chamber orchestras.
The State Woodwind Instruments Quintet was founded in 1997 under the leadership of Honored Worker of Kazakhstan, a graduate of the European Music Academy, Professor Zhanat Yermanov. The creative team has been part of Zhambyl Kazakh State Philharmonic Society since 2004.
In their concerts, the quintet musicians perform popular works of Kazakh and world classic composers.
