Under the Magical Sounds of Dombyra
The XIV Republican Students Olympiad in the "Dombra" nomination based on the academic program "Traditional Musical Art" - 6В02116В, which was held at Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory in the last days of March of this year, has ended.
Earlier, we reported on the holding of the XIV Republican Subject Students Olympiad by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan - 2022 in offline format from March 28 to May 5 in 11 educational programs (15 nominations) in the "Humanities and Art" profile. The creative contest is held in the following programs: Instrumental performance, Traditional Musical Art, Art Management, Vocal Art, Music Education, Composition and Conducting.
Fourteen participants from five universities of the country passed the competitive selection including from Kurmangazy KNC (6), T.Zhurgenov Kazakh National Academy of Arts (1), Kazakh National University of Arts (3), Kh.A. Yassawi International Kazakh-Turkish University (1), M. Utemisov West Kazakhstan University (1).
The solemn event on the occasion of rewarding the participants and their welcoming with a congratulatory speech was opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Folk Music, Yerzhan Zhamenkeev.
Based on the results of the Republican Olympiad, the jury determined the following awards:
1) I-degree award - 1 student;
2) II-degree award - 2 students;
3) III-degree award - 3 students.
