  Graduates of the following educational institutions have the right to enter this specialty:
1. music colleges;
2. secondary specialized music schools;
3. College of arts;
4. variety and circus college;
5. humanitarian and pedagogical college;
6. higher educational institutions (obtaining a second higher education - on a fee basis)

 
I. CREATIVE EXAM IN THE SPECIALTY
Program execution:
  • 1 work by foreign classical composers (accompanied by piano)
• 1 work by Kazakh composers (accompanied by piano)
• 1 kui at a slow tempo
• 1 kui in the style of «shertpe»
• 1 kui at a fast pace (for indications of technical capabilities)

  Criteria for evaluating

I – creative exam

  Score 33-45 points:
The applicant must demonstrate artistry, performing will, competent reading of the author's text, culture of performing intonation, a certain level of technical skill.
Score 19-32 points:
The performance plan of the works is comprehended by the entrant, the author's text is accurately read, the style of music is sustained. But at the same time, it does not demonstrate technical, dynamic freedom, the performance does not differ in variety and sound quality.
Score 5-18 points:
Instability of the program output, poor understanding of the style and content of the compositions performed, insufficient possession of expressive means of musical intonation (sound, dynamics, phrasing, rhythm, auditory control).
Score less than 0-4 points:
Stops, errors in the text, strong stiffness of the performing apparatus, lack of endurance, initiative, rhythmic will, poor command of technical and artistic means of performing intonation, non-compliance of the program with the mandatory level for admission.

ІІ. CREATIVE EXAM
IN MUSIC-THEORETICAL DISCIPLINES

  Harmony – orally by tickets (playing modulation in the key of the first degree of kinship, sequencing up or down according to the specified tonal plan; harmonic analysis of the initial period of the work);
Solfeggio – written: one-voice dictation in the form of a period with chromaticisms, alterations, deviations in the tonality of the first degree of kinship.

II – creative exam


  33-45 points:
Absolutely correct dictation recording; deep knowledge of the topics of the course of elementary music theory; accurate definitions of functions in harmonic analysis; fluency in the skill of playing harmonic sequence.
19-32 points:
The presence of insignificant pitch and rhythmic errors in dictation; good knowledge of the topics of the theoretical course of music theory; good command of the skill of playing a harmonic sequence.
5-18 points:
Significant mistakes in writing dictation; average knowledge of the topics of the theoretical course of elementary music theory; inaccurate definitions of functions in harmonic analysis; insufficient skills and skills of playing harmonic sequence.
0-4 points:
Lack of dictation writing skills, playing modulations and sequences; low level of knowledge of the topics of the theoretical course of elementary music theory.
