Conservatory teachers took part in an international conference in Beijing



The Iinternational Scientific and Practical Conference with the support of the China Central Conservatory of Music was held in Beijing from October 13 to 18, 2023 within the framework of the "One Belt, One Road" Third Alliance of Music Education, where teachers of Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory G.E. Dalbagai, D.E. Keshubaeva, A.A. Karsakbaeva, A.K. Alina participated.

Teachers of Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory had master classes for teaching staff and students of the China Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing within the framework of the Great Silk Road music conference on October 15, 2023.

The musicians spoke about the history of the Kazakh National Conservatory, from the day of its foundation, as well as some of the peculiarities of performing Kazakh folk instruments such as dombra, kyl -kobyz, saz- syrnay, demonstrated playing the instruments at a high professional level, and gave a number of master classes.

During this forum, master classes by musicians from India “Classical Music of North India”, from Sri Lanka with the program “Acts of Storytelling: Weaving Cross-Cultural Narratives through Masks and Music” as well as by musicians from Mongolia with the master class “The Long Song in the Region of Mongolia", were held.

After the participation and communicating with colleagues, professional network was expanded and new projects were initiated with the heads of creative musical higher educational institutions of Mongolia, Vietnam, Singapore, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan with the aim of exchanging experiences, bringing musical cultures closer together, implementing international alliances and cooperation.
