Events as Part of Tajikistan Culture Days in Kazakhstan at the Conservatory

On August 29, 2023, a creative meeting of composers from two countries took place in the A. Zhubanov Small Hall as part of Tajikistan Culture Days in Kazakhstan.

The meeting was attended by Amirbek Mussayev, Chairman of the Union of Composers of Tajikistan, People's Artist of Tajikistan, Professor of the Talabkhoja Sattorov Tajik National Conservatory; Artyk Toksanbayev, Chairman of the Association of Composers of Kazakhstan, recipient of the "Kurmet" Order; the leadership of the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory; and faculty members of the Musicology and Composition Department. The meeting was moderated by Galiya Begembetova, Vice-Rector for Scientific, Creative Activities and International Cooperation.

The parties signed a memorandum of cooperation between the composers' organizations. The creative meeting concluded with a concert featuring leading musicians from both countries.
