Info Session on Academic Publications

On February 14, 2024, Damir Urazymbetov, PhD in Arts, Associate Professor, and Editor of the Saryn journal conducted an info-session for teaching staff and doctoral students of the Conservatory titled "Publications, Scholarly Databases, and Social Networks".

The event was opened by Galiya Begembetova, PhD in Arts, the Vice-Rector for Scientific and Creative Activities and International Cooperation, who outlined the relevance and necessity of the meeting. She emphasized that it is especially important today to focus on popularizing the achievements of the Conservatory in the global educational and academic arena.

At the info-session, discussions revolved around citation in authoritative journals and promoting scholars' articles on social networking sites for scientists and researchers. Modern interactive platforms for the academic community offer wideranging opportunities for exchanging opinions and publications. Additionally, D. Urazymbetov provided insights into several bibliographic databases and digital libraries.

Special attention was devoted to the publication and promotion of the peerreviewed Saryn journal published by the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory.
