Workshop on Copyright and Legal Regulation

On September 19, 2023, employees of the National Institute of Intellectual Property held a seminar on "Copyright and legal regulation" for teaching staff and administrative staff of the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory.

The seminar was organized by employees of the Quality Management Department with the support of the Science Department and the Concert and Creative Activity Service.

The speakers of the event were QazPatent employees:

Raushan Avvalova, Head of Copyright Department (offline);

Aruzhan Ulkhanova, Chief Expert of the Center for Intellectual Property Rights (online);

Dinara Moldakhmetova, Head of the Contact Center (online).

The following issues were discussed during the meeting:

§ The concept and importance of intellectual property;

§ Registration of copyright for one's own work (Entering information into the State Register of Rights to Objects Protected by Copyright);

§ Navigation on the Qazpatent website and the applicant's personal account.
