The profile of scientific activity is connected with history and theory of music performance regarding study of artistic interpreting nature of musical art and revealing basic functions and forms of musical art for implementation in the past and present. This direction of scientific research within the context of renaissance of the national culture and spirituality is considered to be topical. With development of principles of musical-and-esthetic and historic-and-theoretical studies of performance culture within the general humanitarian problematics, new methods and forms of practical comprehension of musical performance process are being elaborated.
