6. ACADEMIC INTERESTS:

The profile of research activity is connected with the history and theory of Kazakh musical performance and, specifically, with the history of the development of bayan performance in Kazakhstan, identifying its functional features in the past and present, the role and place of the bayan and accordion in the culture of Kazakhstan. This area of scientific research in the context of the revival of national culture and spirituality seems relevant.
