Recently, students of Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory took part in «Akim's Cup» football competition organized by employees of the State Fund for the Development of Youth Policy of Almaty. The event was held with the support of the administration of the akim of the Alatau districs.

On April 21-22, the small Olympiad on the academic program: «Music Theory» ended at the Conservatory and its winners were announced. The main purpose of the event is to identify talented youth, attract and to provide career guidance to applicants studying in colleges to continue their education in this major at Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory.

On April 21, the XIV Republican Subject Student Olympiad of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the «Folk Singing»  sector among students of Kazakhstan universities, is ended.

Today, at A.Zhubanov small hall of Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory, on the initiative of the "Debut" student theater, a curatorial hour dedicated to the 125th anniversary of the great Kazakh classic, public figure Mukhtar Auezov, was held
The moderator of the meeting in which 1st year students took part, was the senior teacher of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Disciplines, Doctoral Candidate of Historical Sciences, Toktagul Mynzhanuly.

On April 19, in the Great Hall, an award ceremony was held for students of various specialties, participants and winners of international competitions:
1. VI International Piano Competition "YENISEY-KLAVIER";
2. VI Open international festival-competition on the piano course for musicians of different specialties "Music of the peoples of the world for piano";
3. International online competition of classical music "La Campanella";
4. VII International Piano Competition for Students of Various Specialties EURASIA PIANO FORUM.

Professor of the «Dombra» Department of Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory, scientist and teacher Sakharbayeva, Karima Sundetkyzy celebrates her 70th birthday. It is deeply symbolic that the solemn opening of the small Olympiad in the nominations of the Dombra department coincided with the anniversary of the respected teacher.

From 14 to 15 April, the Kazakh National University of Arts in Astana hosted an Olympiad in the «Musicology» specialty, dedicated to the 90th anniversary of E.Rakhmadiyev.

Today, a solemn event dedicated to the International Day of Monuments and Historic Sites, established by the UNESCO International Council Assembly, was held at the monument of Kurmangazy Sagyrbayuly on the central square of our Conservatory.
