Within the framework of the international Erasmus + program and an agreement with the Vigo Conservatory (Vigo, Spain), students’ admission is being announced for the 2022-2023 academic year for the autumn semester in the following specialties:

On April 15, 2022, in the Big Concert Hall of Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory, a concert by the teacher of the «Kobyz and Button Accordion» Department, holder of the «Kurmet» certificate and the «Pride of the Nation» badge, Galymzhan Narymbetov, was held.

Recently, a master class was held in the Concert Hall of Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory, by the conductor and pianist from Berlin (Germany) Matthias Manazi with the participation of the student symphony orchestra.

Congratulations to the winners of the XIV Republican Students Subject Olympiad of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan - 2022 among university students in the AP 6B01406- «Music education», which took place on April 11-13 , 2022. 17 students from different cities of Kazakhstan took part in the major Olympiad.

Recently, in the Concert Hall of Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory a master class was held by the conductor and pianist from Berlin (Germany) Matthias Manazi with the participation of the student symphony orchestra.

2nd year Master's student of the chair «Special Piano» Zakirova Assem (scientific supervisor Koylybaeva M.T., PhD, associate professor of the chair «Musicology and Composition») won the 3rd place at the II international online competition among master students of creative universities of the CIS «Best poster presentation». The competition was organized by the Kazakh National Academy of Arts named after T.K. Zhurgenov. The competition committee consisted of an international panel of scientists-teachers from leading creative universities in the CIS. Assem presented a report on «Piano competition as a platform to realize of performing interpretation», which caused heated discussions among jury members. The results of the competition were announced online.

Karina Kudratullayevna Ismatullaeva, a 4th year student, was recognized as the best volunteer of the year and awarded the 1st degree diploma at the «The Best Volunteer of the Year» Republican contest organized by the «Bilim-Orkenieti» National Innovation Research Center.

On April 11, the Chopin Chamber Hall hosted the Round Table «The Artistic and Educational Role of the Piano in the Development of a Performing Musician».

Congratulations to the student of the Wind and Percussion Department, Gaziz Malikov, who became the 1st degree laureate of the III International «Colors of Music» Contest-Festival in the «Woodwind Instruments» (saxophone) nomination, Russian Federation, Moscow.
