Grand Prix of the competition - Altukhova Marina Igorevna (piano-solo)
1st place in the nomination "Piano Duo" - Altukhova Marina Igorevna and Melnikova Anna Yuryevna.
November 14 to November 19, 2018 the teachers of the Department “General Piano” underwent advanced training in the individual training program “Actual problems of piano pedagogy” within the framework of the VI International Competition named after A. Nemtin. The program includes lectures by B. B.Borodin (Doctor of Arts, Professor. Ekaterinburg), L.V. Latishova (organist KazNUI, Astana), D.P. Rutgers (arranger, pianist, Moscow).
Master classes of the National Artist of Belarus, Professor I.V. Olovnikov, Honored Worker of Culture of the Russian Federation, Professor I.V. Chukovskaya.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the Kazakh National University of Arts, the Kazakh National Academy named after T. Zhurgenev, the International Kazakh-Turkish University named after A. Yassawi, the Atyrau State University named after H. Dosmukhamedov, the Kazakh State Women's Pedagogical University, the South Kazakhstan State University named after M. Auezov, West-Kazakhstan State University named after M. Utemisov, Pavlodar State University named after S. Toraygyrov.
The meeting of the Republican educational and methodical Council were attended by the leadership and representatives of the Kazakh State Philharmonic named after Zhambyl, the State Opera and Ballet Theater named after Abay, Almaty Musical College named after. P. Tchaikovsky and the Republican secondary specialized music boarding school for gifted children. K. Baiseitova.
The employers at the meeting of the Educational and Methodical Association of the Republican Educational and Methodical Council were attended by the leadership and representatives of the Kazakh State Philharmonic named after Zhambyl, the State Opera and Ballet Theater named after Abay, Almaty Music College. P. Tchaikovsky and the Republican secondary specialized music boarding school for gifted children named after K. Baiseitova.
During the meeting, actual issues of modernization of the educational process in creative universities, modern approaches to the employment of graduates, problems in the implementation of programs of external academic mobility and ways to solve them were discussed.
At the final round table participants exchanged views and experiences on solving actual problems of educational and methodological support of the educational process and the training of highly qualified specialists in art.

Сoncert program consisted of works by composers from different countries and eras. Our performers represented the audience the academic music and folk art of Kazakhstan. The concert was also attended by students from Azerbaijan, Georgia and Norway. All concerts were held at the high level.
In the framework of mentioned project also planned concerts in Almaty and Bergen (Norway), which will be held in the spring 2019.



The exchange of students is being realized on a free of charge by mutual agreement of the parties.
August 29, 2018 in the Big Concert Hall of the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory the first, in the new academic year, extended meeting of the Academic Council with the participation of the entire faculty. In his speech, Rector - Honoured Artist of Republic of Kazakhstan Zhudebayev Arman Adilkhanovich, thanking the Head of State for the trust and honor given to lead the team of the leading creative university of the country, shared with the audience his plans and thoughts on the prospects for the development of the Conservatory, spoke about the problems that need to be addressed. The Rector emphasized in his message that, given the ambiguous situation in which the country's first music university turned out, the government of the country, in particular, the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan, allocated additional money for which the dormitory repair would be completed and the necessary equipment. So, 37 million tenge was allocated for construction work, 61 million tenge for purchase of furniture, gas stoves, refrigerators and washing machines for student hostel. The Head of the Conservatory also told that by the end of this year the conservatory will purchase 75 computers, 40 printers for computer classes and a reading room, two copiers (for the library and the Admission Committee), 75 uninterruptible power supplies for a total of KZT29 million.
Further, in message, A. Zhudebaev told the results of the admission committee, that all the places of state order, on bachelor's degree - 253, on masters degree -35 and 4 - on doctoral studies, are fully mastered. Moreover, the conservatory took part in the competition for grant financing from the local administration, following which two students will be trained with the support of local administrations of Mangystau and Aktobe.
Communicating with the team, the Rector emphasized in the plans of the university the events connected with the 75th anniversary of the Kazakh National Conservatory, which will be held in 2019. In this regard, he expressed the hope that all these scientific and creative projects will be supported by the team and, each employee and teacher of the conservatory, will contribute to the achievement of these plans.
Concluding speech, Arman Adilkhanovich presented letters of appreciation and letters of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as letters of thanks on behalf of the Rector of the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory, number of teachers of various specialties who made a significant contribution to the development of Kazakhstan musical culture and education.
Further, the meeting of the Academic Council continued in the working mode, number of issues were discussed on the agenda.
