The choirmaster, music teacher, Professor, first Vice-Rector of the Kazakh National Academy of Music, Igor Borisovich Lebedev passed away.
Igor Borisovich was born in 1937 and lived a long creative life.

Today at Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory hosted a special event dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the independence of Kazakhstan. Speaking to the staff of the educational institution, Rector Arman Zhudebaev noted the significance of the anniversary date for every citizen of Kazakhstan.

«Art Forum of Kazakhstan» and Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory organized Eva, Joseph and Semyon Kogans I International Instrumental Performance Contest within the framework of the 30th anniversary of Independence of Kazakhstan. Congratulations to the students of the Department of Wind and Percussion Instruments, who became laureates of the contest.

Shortly before the 30th anniversary of Independence, high state awards were presented for contribution to the political, socio-economic development of the republic and active social activities. Teachers of Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory were awarded too.

Today, in the Great Hall of K.Baiseitova school a workshop was held on the topic: "Peculiarities of Learning the Digital Piano in a Musical Environment». The lesson was based on the manual of the same name, created with the participation and support of Piano Department teachers of Gnesins Russian Academy of Music and the Moscow office of CASIO Europe GmbH together with the Instrumental Performance Faculty of Kurmangazy KNС.

The IV International Online Astana Classic Contest was held in Nur-Sultan On November 30, 2021. The organizer of the contest is the Astana Stars International Festival Movement with the support of the Department of Culture of Nur-Sultan.

Today, the conductor, composer, Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan, People's Artist of Tatarstan, Honored Artist of Russia, Renat Salavatov visited Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory.
