From October to January, Jazz will be the main protagonist at Fundación Liceu Conservatory!
Within the framework of the collaboration that the Liceu Conservatory Foundation has maintained for 10 years with the Voll-Damm Festival de Jazz de Barcelona, and under the patronage of the Ferrer-Salat Music Foundation, this institution has become one more year of the main centers of Jazz at an international level, hosting part of the 53rd edition of this festival, thus becoming a reference venue: concerts and masterclasses to live Jazz intensely with the best artists.

From December 1 to December 7, 2021, the 1st International Maria and Natalia Yeshchenko Piano Competition will be held.

Since 2018, KNC has begun to cooperate actively with European universities within the European Erasmus+ program.

Within the framework of the international Erasmus + program and an agreement with the Conservatory ща Vigo (Vigo, Spain), the admission for one semester in the 2021 -2022 academic year is announced in the following specialties:
Undergraduate level: years 2-3, "String Instruments", "Wind Instruments".

The 7th symposium «Preservation, Integration and Renewal of Traditional Music: Theory and Practice» of the Research Group for "Music of the Turkic Speaking World" of the International Council for Traditional Music, UNESCO will be held at the State Conservatory on October 4-7, 2021. It will be an online event on the ZOOM platform organized jointly with the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the International Council for Traditional Music.

The Conservatory 2-nd year student of the "Orchestral Conducting" specialty, Satkozy Mukhtar, gained the SUR PLACE scholarship from the world-famous Konrad Adenauer Foundation.

The year II doctoral student, Asel Imae (Art Management) participated in the offline and online public discussions of the Creative Industries Development Concept for Kazakhstan on September 16 at the Qainar bulak site of AlmaU.

On September 2, 2021, the teaching staff, representatives of the administration and students of Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory took part in the discussion of the Message of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan K.Tokayev to the people of Kazakhstan, voiced by the President on September 1 of this year.
