Erasmus+ program to Spain for 1st and 2nd year students



Competition for training during the 2024–2025 academic year for one semester (February 27 to May 30, 2025) at the Vigo Superior Conservatory of Music (Conservatorio Superior de Música de Vigo, Vigo, Spain) in the specialties of "Wind, Brass Instruments" and "String Instruments."

The number of candidates and applications is not limited, and there are three grants available.

To participate in the competitive selection process, candidates should meet the following criteria and requirements:

- Citizenship of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

- Student of the 1st or 2nd year at the Faculty of Information Technology (including "Wind, Brass Instruments," "String Instruments," including "Guitar");

- High academic performance in the previous study period (GPA 3.0);

- Responsibility and communicativeness;

- Good level of English proficiency: the ability to understand spoken/written language, participate in lectures/seminars, and express thoughts coherently.

Knowledge of the Spanish language is not mandatory for the specialties of "Wind, Brass Instruments," and "String Instruments."

Knowledge of the Spanish language is mandatory for the "Guitar" specialty.

 

The competition is open to both students enrolled under the state educational order and those studying on a paid basis.

Candidates who successfully pass the selection process will receive full coverage of expenses (accommodation, transportation, scholarship) under the Erasmus+ program.

 

The deadline for submitting applications is April 10, 2024. Additionally, by April 15, 2024, candidates must provide a valid DUOLINGO or IELTS certificate at levels B1 or B2 (for the "Guitar" specialty, a valid Spanish language certificate at levels B1 or B2 is required).

If the certificate is not provided within the specified period, the candidate will not be accepted, even if they have been accepted for a specialty.

The selection process will be conducted by the relevant faculty of the host institution.

 

To participate in the competition in English, candidates should submit the following separate documents in electronic format to the International Department via email at intdepkons@gmail.com:

1) Europass CV: https://europa.eu/europass/en/create-europass-cv;

2) Audio and video recordings (in the form of links to YouTube) showcasing instrumental performance, including the titles of the pieces performed (also attach separately in the email or in the CV);

3) Motivational letter (1–2 pages);

To apply, candidates should fill out the online application personally through https://mobility.aec-music.eu/LoginServlet. Create an application specifying the partnership between Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory and Conservatorio Superior de Música de Vigo (Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory and Conservatorio Superior de Música de Vigo CSMVIGO).

Students are required to create a preliminary study plan from the list of proposed subjects.
