Meeting with Alexei Vasiliev, Rector of the Saint Petersburg Conservatory

On March 5, 2024, at the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory, a meeting of the Conservatory's administration took place with the distinguished guest, Alexei Vasiliev, the Rector of the N. A. Rimsky-Korsakov Saint Petersburg Conservatory, Professor of the cello, harp, double bass, and Quartet Department, and Honored Artist of Russia.

Alexei Vasiliev arrived in Almaty for the first time, where he will take part in the concert "Romantic Spring" of the Zhambyl Kazakh State Philharmonic together with Professor of the Wind and Percussion Instruments Department of the Conservatory, Honored Worker of Kazakhstan Zhanat Ermanov.

During the meeting with A. Vasiliev, possibilities for organizing academic and creative events, sharing experiences, and discussing issues related to student academic mobility were discussed. At the end of the meeting, both parties exchanged assurances of reliable and fruitful partnership and extended the cooperation agreement. Following this, the guest was given a tour of the academic institution, library, and concert halls of the Conservatory.
