International Conference

The active formation of national performing schools in the last century, the interaction of different traditions of performing arts have become a reflection of the growing globalization processes in the performing arts. Many outstanding performers on world stages are perceived not only as virtuoso soloists, but also as representatives of the musical culture of their countries. We offer the participants of the conference to answer the following questions:

• What is school and tradition in contemporary art?

• What the national style is manifested in and what are the approaches to its study?

• What aspects of traditional art influence the national performing style in academic music?

• How do individual performers influence the formation and development of national performing schools?

• How ethnic musical traditions are evolving in the context of globalization?

These questions set the direction of reflection but do not limit it. Conference languages: Kazakh, English and Russian. You may participate personally or with poster presentation.
