Workshops by Ryszard Żołędziewski (Poland) were held


From April 7 to 11, 2025, saxophonist, Head of the Wind Instruments, Percussion, and Accordion Department at the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław (Poland) Ryszard Żołędziewski, visited the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory as part of the Erasmus+ program.
On April 10, 2025, R. Żołędziewski conducted individual classes and workshops the saxophone class ensemble (Educational program "Instrumental Performance"), paying attention to the issues of sound production, breathing techniques, musical phrasing and interpretation. The participants noted the high professional standard, demanding and at the same time inspiring atmosphere created by the teacher.
On April 9, the Professor gave a lecture on “Modern Methods of Improving the Saxophonist’s Playing Mechanics," and on April 11, R. Żołędziewski delivered a report on "Modern performing techniques in saxophone music" at the International Conference "Musical Turсology Today: Problems and Prospects," dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the First International Symposium "Music of the Turkic Peoples."
The conservatory expresses its gratitude to Professor R. Żołędziewski for a visit that provided students with an unforgettable experience and emotions, as well as to the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław for its collaboration.
